May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we are pleased to join a Youth Mental Health Discussion sponsored by State Representative Danielle Friel Otten. Monica Reinhard-Gorney and Perk Musacchio will lead a parent-focused conversation about five culprits that interfere with a child’s optimal developmental trajectory. Learn strategies and interventions to help your child thrive in today’s world. Monica has a Master’s in Education and has her own educational counseling practice. Perk has recently retired after 39 years of teaching elementary students and also has her own educational consulting firm. Staff from the District Office will be available to answer questions about state-related services, and Danielle will discuss relevant legislation in the House, including anti-bullying legislation that she has co-sponsored and other pending mental health and school resource bills.
